Participant Agreement & Guidelines

These are the living rules for Motta Maadi Sandhippu (MMS). They also set the tone for how we hold safe, non-judgmental space across AHB gatherings.

Thank you for your interest in Motta Maadi Sandhippu. Please read and accept these guidelines before you attend. Feel free to save a copy for your reference.

Session agreements

  1. Come with an open mind and open heart. Speak from your personal truth and lived experience. Refrain from generalizing or stereotyping any person(s) or identities.
  2. Everything shared and heard in the session stays confidential, including posts on social media or bringing it up later without consent.
  3. Do nothing that makes others feel unsafe: no jokes about others, bullying, teasing, unsolicited advice, pressuring people to share personal information, or touching (including hugs) without consent. This is a safe, non-judgmental space.
  4. Facilitators and organizers may remove anyone who makes others feel unsafe. The team's decision is final.
  5. You take full personal responsibility for any exchange outside the session venue and time. The MMS team is not accountable for misconduct after the gathering. Be mindful when sharing contacts or meeting elsewhere.

Venue guidelines

  1. Arrive on or before 3:45 PM so the room can settle. Late arrivals disrupt the flow.
  2. Park mindfully or in spaces shown by volunteers.
  3. Do not disturb neighbors with loud noise or music. Vacate soon after the event; hang out elsewhere if you wish to continue.
  4. Leave no waste. You're welcome to help clean or prepare the space.
  5. Bring a water bottle and what you need for comfort. No snacking during the session.
  6. Phones on silent or flight mode. Texting, calls, video, and photography during the session are discouraged.
  7. The MMS team may capture photos and video for outreach. By attending, you consent. Sensitive personal sharing will not be recorded.
  8. Organizers may cancel for unavoidable or emergency circumstances.
  9. Being part of the Amazing Human Being community is required to attend MMS. Join via the community form first. When MMS registration opens for community members, complete that step (and payment when required). Location details go to a temporary WhatsApp group; please accept the invite so we can add you.

Health & safety

  1. Attend only if you are healthy and without fever, cold, or similar symptoms.
  2. Take care with precautions (e.g. mask, sanitizer) as needed.
  3. Follow safety protocols for your well-being and others'.
  4. If you have symptoms of a communicable illness, rest and join us at the next meet.

* MMS is for community members. By joining and attending, you accept the above guidelines.
